Jackets (foundations for wind turbines) for the second phase of the Belgian windfarm project Thornton II were preassembled at the Fabricom Yard in Hoboken, Belgium. Mid-August Sarens executed the load-out of the jackets onto barges for transport to the offshore windfarm in front of the Belgian coast.
Sarens used following equipment during this project: CC8800-1, LR1600/2, 24L Kamag and different telescopic cranes ranging from 50t to 700t.
